Membership

The eleven members include one member from each congressional district and three at-large members; only four members may serve on boards of grantee organizations. Members must file with the Minnesota Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board. The board meets monthly; meeting are generally held in the Arts Board office. The board does not expire.

The Minnesota State Arts Board encourages the creation, performance, and appreciation of the arts in the state. It is dedicated to making the arts available to all Minnesotans. The development of the arts is fostered through a series of grants, programs, and services which are administered by a professional staff.
